Life cycle analysis is an objective process that allows us to evaluate the environmental impact associated with a product, process or activity, from the extraction of raw materials to the use and end of life of the product, once it has been discarded.

At Euro-Funding we take charge of making an analysis to quantify the environmental loads associated with a product or service, identifying and quantifying both the use of material and energy and the emissions into the environment.

This allows us to identify those processes whose contribution to the environmental impact is significant, which is crucial to optimize their design from an environmentally responsible point of view.

PHASES OF THE LIFE OF A PRODUCT

  • Raw material acquisition: all activities necessary for the extraction of raw materials and energy inputs from the environment, including transport prior to production.
  • Process and manufacture: Activities necessary to convert the raw materials and energy into the desired product.
  • Distribution and transport: Transfer of the final product to the client.
  • Use, reuse and maintenance: Use of the finished product throughout its life in service.
  • Recycling: The product has been used for its initial function and is recycled.
  • Waste management: the product has served its purpose and is returned to the environment as waste.
