Give your opinion about the challenges that must be priority for Horizon Europe (old h2020)

The European Comission has just launched a popular consultation to prepare the Strategic Plan for Horizon Europe, the Framework Program of Research and Innovation that will have a Budget of more than 100 billion euros for the period 2021-2027.

The public consultation is carried out through an online survey in which all interested parties (citizens, companies, organizations) can participate until September 8. This consultation is part of the co-design process put in place to give shape to the Program and define the main priorities, that help improve the lives of citizens, helping also the main agents of society, such as climate change, become opportunities for innovation and solutions for a sustainable future.

The survey consists of several questions in which participants can express their opinion about the challenges that should be prioritized in this new program, its relationship with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and the impact that Horizon Europe should consider like gender aspects, strategic technologies, promotion of education and research, and international cooperation, among others.

The consultation aim is for public opinion to play an important role in defining the direction of Horizon Europe to generate a Europe that is: more protective (for example, in relation to the Data Protection Directive), more competitive (in relation to with the European Industrial Policy Strategy), more just and more sustainable (in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN or the European Strategy for a climate-neutral Europe by 2050).

From Euro-Funding we encourage you to participate in the consultation to all those interested in R+D+ i in Europe. We are following closely the entire process of preparing the Strategic Plan for Horizon Europe. In this way we are at the forefront to continue maximizing the success of our clients in the financing of their innovative projects in the new program that will come into force in 2021.
